[Help] Support Letter for Stamp 4 (2 Weeks of unpaid Paternity Leaves)

Hi Everyone,

I have completed 20 months on CSWP and recently applied for support letter for stamp 4. I am little worried since I have 2 weeks of unpaid "Paternity Leaves" and doubting that it may cause refusal as gross pay on P60 / Employment Detail Summary Year 2019 is less than what was mentioned in CSWP application (1000.75 Euros less)? Anyone has similar case and what was the outcome of it?

I was legally entitled to take the paternity leaves and did not realized that it will affect the year end P60 =(

Additional Details:
------------------------------------------------
Although, I got 245 + 245 = 490 euros from Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection (DEASP) as paternity benefit of these 2 weeks.

To support my application I attached following documents:

1. Letter from Employer confirming 2 weeks of unpaid paternity leaves.
2. Employer Certificate of Paternity Leaves.
3. Paternity Benefit Request for Information from DEASP
4. New Born Birth Certificate (Hospital)

Note: The legislation on paternity leave is set out in the Paternity Leave and Benefit Act 2016.
------------------------------------------------

Thanks,
Asif

Hi Everyone,

Well, to help other guys in future. I am granted with "Support Letter for Stamp 4" which I applied after completion of 20 months via email (due to Covid-19). They accepts unpaid "Paternity leaves" with the application if provided with supporting documentation. For this purpose I attached following documents:

1. Employer Certificate for Paternity Leaves
2. Paternity Leaves Letter from Employer
3. Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection (Request for Information Letter)

I received Paternity leaves benefit from Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection. Btw, I believe #2 and #3 may be optional but to be on safer side I sent these extra documentations as evidence since my year 2019 end of year gross pay was almost 1000 euros lesser than what was mentioned in CSWP application back in early 2019.

Best of Luck

Thanks,
Asif
