Re entry - port of entry

Post by liffey » Wed Jun 26, 2019 4:07 pm

Hi

First let me thank you.

Will I be allowed to re enter Ireland at the immigration if I had lost my job due to some reasons (not redundancy) where my CSWP is surrendered to DBEI from employer?
My GNIB validity is till Sep 2019

Im travelling to India and will be back after 20-25 days

Regards,

If you don’t have the permit, you will be allowed for 6 months to search for the new employment. You have to file redundancy form and inform gnib. If you are going to India, there is a fair chance that you will be asked for work permit in the immigration and you may denied entry. I advise you to get a new job, permit and go in holidays.
