GNIB renewal without permit

Hello friends please help,
Our stamp 4 was refused. Can we renew the gnib without permit. Or we need to apply for permit, get the permit and apply for renewal.

Can I know why did your stamp 4 got rejected? As far as I know It is not possible to renew your gnib with out a valid work permit...

Sorry for the late reply. Our stamp 4 got rejected as the employer paid my hubby salary from a different company which was registered in their name (sister's concern)
