Hi Hari,

As far as I know, if they are looking at the documents, it should not take more than a week. But having said that, please note that there are huge discrepancies in what they communicate to us and what actually happens in there.

Sorry, I know not the answer you would want to hear but I dont think it actually means they were actually working on the application, just because they have said after you asked them. If you get a response initiated from them(not a reply) that they are working then its a different story.

I have heard some people getting notification about processing initiated, some get after approval, but we have got nothing. Straight response from VFS for collection.

But one thing is for sure and should give assurance to everyone here, that they have to process these category application within 12 months, so it should not be beyond that.

Hope this helps.
Regards

Hi guys,

Does anyone know what kind of insurance to get to get through Irish border? and from which company?

The dfa website says you need medical insurance to be able to enter Ireland but gives no other details. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

I have submitted a travel insurance copy from star health insurance with my spouse visa documents.

https://www.starhealth.in/travel-insura ... individual

Which will cover all the Emergency travel and medical expenses for maximum of 180 days.

I haven't got my visa yet,so better you can take a 2nd option from the people who already got the visa. :)

I haven't got my visa yet.

Am also waiting like you.

I have applied in the last week of June only.

So you might be getting the visa earlier than me

Hopping June month applications will be processed by next month.

You said you applied on may so i was just curious. If the sponsor have CSEP then the processing would take 3-4 months i guess. So was just curious to know if your sponsor have CSEP or general work permit.😌
