New Critical Skill Permit while Stamp 4 Application under Process.

Post by somanisonalia » Mon Mar 12, 2018 12:21 pm

I am working on Critical Skill Work Permit which expiring on 20/04/2018 so my GNIB also getting expired on same date.
Company already applied for Stamp 4 Support Letter on (8th Mar 2018) as I am completing 21 months in 13th Mar 2018, as per dbei.gov.ie, processing time is 4-6 weeks so expecting to get Stamp 4 Support Letter on 24th Apr 2018 (after my GNIB expire)

I got taken GNIB Appointment on 16th Apr 2018.

Queries:
If I have not received my Stamp 4 Support Letter before 16th Apr 2018,
Do I get temporary extension on Stamp 1 for myself and my spouse?
OR Do I have to apply for New Critical Skill Work Permit?

My Company is planning to apply for new Critical Skill Work Permit, is that impact my Stamp 4 decision?

Thanks a lot for your valuable time. Waiting for your quick response as usual.

Get an extension for 3 months, you don't need a new permit.
