Multiple Entry Dependent Visa

Post by rorlol » Thu Dec 07, 2017 5:52 am

Hi All,

I am currently in Ireland and have a multi entry dependent visa and my GNIB stamp 3 expires on
May 2018.

During the issuance of my Multi-entry visa (I came here on a single entry dependent visa), they told me that I cannot stay out of Ireland for more than 90 days.

I have to go back to officially quit my job, settle my house etc. I already used about 75 days (had to go back for work) and am back in Ireland now.

My query is - is there a way I can go back and forth greater than 90 days? Will this affect my re-entry back to Ireland, will this affect my eventual citizenship (if and when it occurs).

Thank you,

P.S : great job running this forum. It’s been extremely helpful to me. A big thanks to everyone Involved!

It won't affect as long as you have a valid reason. You have to declare it on the naturalisation application though.
