UK Dependent Visa after receiving my re-entry Visa

Post by amitasricky » Thu May 18, 2017 7:07 pm

Dear Experts,

I have arrived in Ireland a month back, and have converted my Visa from single entry to multiple entry now.
My spouse is currently working in UK , and I want to visit her.
I am considering to apply my UK dependent Visa .
Can anyone please let me know if there would be any trouble .
I am assuming authorities can question that when I am in Ireland to work for at least 1 year then how can I get my UK dependent Visa.

Other option I am thinking is UK tourist Visa.
Please let me know if that is a feasible option and if there are any other options available as well.

Thanks

Hi,

Not sure how the UK dependent visa works, but you can apply UK standard visa its a simple process and this visa can be used for tourist, business not applied for working and accessing public funds.

You can get multi entry for 6 months, 2 and 5 yrs, me and my wife is holding an UK multi entry visa for 2 years.

Not sure you can apply now since they ask for last 3 months banks statement and you are in Ireland for about one month it seems.

Get into the UK Gov website they have all the info.

Good Luck !

Why do you want to apply for UK dependent visa? Are you planning to join your spouse in the UK? If yes, then you can apply for dependent visa. However, if you are planning to just visit your spouse in the UK and then return to Ireland for work, I am not sure whether the British Embassy will consider your case because you are not going to be a resident over in the UK. If you can prove that you will be a resident in the UK, I am sure they will give you the dependent visa.
