Is the below steps mentioned correct?

Yes. Correct. Make sure you are applying in plenty of time before your driving test as current waiting time for the test is 6 to 8 months

1.Theory test (45 Euros)
2.Eye examination (15 to 25 Euros)
3.Apply for Learners licence (35 Euros)
4.EDT lessons( 6 or 12) ( ~250 Euros)
5.Apply for the driving test (85 Euros)
5.Final Driving test (30+40 Euros - for the car)
6.Apply for Full licence (45 Euros)

At what step should we contact Driving school?

After getting the learner permit

In what steps below can Driving school help us.?Is there any good driving school to be suggested?

Check your local ADI on the RSA website - https://rsa.ie/Utility/Driving-Instruct ... -Register/ Usually they will charge 35 to 45 euros per class but you can negotiate and choose

Can we engage through Driving school for all the below steps?

You can do everything online. Theory test can be booked on https://theorytest.ie/. The driving test can be booked at https://www.rsa.ie

If we already have an Indian licence how to reduce EDT lessons to 6 classes. ?

Once you got your learner permit, apply for the reduced EDT based on your Indian license. The form is on the link below. Once you've filled it, send it back to NDSL for processing. Attach your original Indian license and driving license extract(you can use a printout from the Digi locker app)
https://www.ndls.ie/images/Documents/Fo ... HR_WEB.PDF
Once they NDSL acknowledges, you don't need to take 12 classes. Only 6 should be fine.

Is waiting time between Learner licence and Driving is 6 months.? How to reduce the waiting time?

If you apply for the reduced EDT above, you don't need to wait for 6 months

Can we use the driving school car for the final driving test?

You can. Usually, the instructor will charge you around 40 to 60 euros for this.

Any tips or better suggestions?

Unlearn the Indian driving habits. Don't overuse clutch. Understand the roundabouts and positioning on the roads. Observation is the key while driving.

Thank you bala sir.
After applying for EDT class reduction and getting acknowledgment from NDSL,then only we approach the Driving school for first time and inform them that we need reduced EDT classes and start the driving classes with them.is it correct?
Do driving school give us any certificate that we have completed these number of classes?
Do we need to learn both manual and automatic transmission cars or anyone is sufficient?

Yes.NSDL is going to approve it if things are in the order. You can just mention the reduced EDT to the driving instructor and take the 6 classes while you are processing the documentation in parallel. But It is better to do it after receiving the confirmation from the NDSL.

Do driving school give us any certificate that we have completed this number of classes?

No. Instead they will update the progress online directly to the RSA. You can even view your records online here on this URL https://www.rsa.ie/RSA/Learner-Drivers/ ... DT/My-EDT/

I advise you to learn and do the test in the Manual transmission. If you learn and do the test in an automatic transmission car, you can only drive automatic cars further once you got the license. If you got a manual license, you can drive both manual and automatic after getting the license.
