Isn’t it 6 weeks for CSEP holders?

It says so on the site but people had to wait for months before they got the spouse visa in recent months.
But in any case it can't take more than 6 months.

Hi All,
Those who received spouse visa (i will have CSEP, but not initiated visa application), how much minimum time one has to wait (for collecting all documents), before I can apply for spouse and kids visa.
I am trying to work out, whether to apply for spouse visa along with mine, or if i shift there first and then apply for spouse visa.
Your feedback will be very helpful for me to take a decision.

I suggest if you can apply all together. Generally they give visa for 4 months. Now it's ur choice if u want to come by ur own and arrange the house and stuff like that and then ur spouse can join u before visa expiry.

Thanks Contactajaysharma.
I am planning to apply for all of us together, as approval timeline in case of seperate application is uncertain.
I initially got an input that visa for 3 months is provided.
However, you are suggesting 4 months, is it for all CSEP visas ?
