Courier from India to Ireland

Post by neeraj_jain » Thu Feb 07, 2019 11:26 am

Hi Guys,

I want to get some stuff couriered from India to Dublin. Weight of the package would be around 100Kgs.
Do you know a good and cheaper way of sending the package from India to Dublin?

Thanks,
Neeraj

Check with UBT Pro https://ubtpro.in which I used long time back.
Also check customs duty charges applied in Ireland for stuff which you want to bring and then decide if it is worth.

Try the below. Used a couple of times and found them cheaper and reliable than others. They are using DHL on the backend.

OMG, does that really happen? And DHL didn't tell you beforehand that such Extra charges could be applied at the time of delivery?
I am wondering if this is the case with other delivery companies too :?

India post is the best to send goods from India to Ireland. Only 20kgs allowed, split many. They had registered post 7k and speed post 9k but I don't see difference apart from price around 2k also both delivery could be in 10 to 15 days.I would suggest registered post and do it from Airport head post office for speedy shipping.

Hi,

I heard that Indian post is only for courier ‘clothing and books’.
Is that true or idea of any restrictions?

Thanks and Regards,

I don't think so.We can send many dry items like masala powders, lentils, dals etc but subject to customs check. We are not allowed to send large quantity in one post(20kg).They do proper check before post and packing. Here is the link for prohibited items.

Also parcel dimensions are strictly noticed.
