Re: Considering a move to Dublin, feedback appreciated

That's the current package for the Artificial Intelligence / Machine language skills managers. The only downside I'm seeing here is the tax deductions. He will be spending around 58000 Euros on the income tax. Taxes are incredibly high; I am hoping to qualify for SARP which should help a bit (thank...

Re: Considering a move to Dublin, feedback appreciated

No way, which company you get this kind of package? its not that beneficial to the companies to offer so much amount for managerial jobs. I know some local companies pay close to that figure for IT manager, which is just a support role. So I dont like to doubt the offer the OP is getting. There was...

Re: Considering a move to Dublin, feedback appreciated

I have been working with HR on this and things are slow as expected. Current numbers I am working with: €150K per year (€104K base + 45K stocks/bonus). Looks like my wife can’t transfer with her current job, and she will have to find one in Dublin. Worth the move based on numbers? Also how far in a...

Also, make sure to ask the company to proceed with the critical skills work permit and don't opt for intracompany transfer permit.
Thank you! Absolutely, given that my wife also needs to find work having CSWP and Stamp 1 for my wife would go a long way;

Re: Considering a move to Dublin, feedback appreciated

Hi The work culture is mainly dependent on you and your manager. If Ur manager is Europe based he may be relaxed. I haven't lived in SFO. I know the average wages there based on experience. For a team manager leading 15 people tech will have 80k to 100 k plus bonus. Quality of life in outskirts of ...

Re: Considering a move to Dublin, feedback appreciated

Another question that may be of a personal choice: do many people in dublin with small families manage without a car? My thinking was that if both me & wife live close to work that we either walk/take the bus or train and only rent out cars for outings during the weekend, not sure if that is a reaso...

Re: Considering a move to Dublin, feedback appreciated

Our goal is to live in Ireland for a couple of years and then evaluate if we want to move back to the India/US at that point (maybe considering Irish naturalization on the way). I think it will take more than a couple of years. Regards! Thank you, the citizenship is not on our mind right now. I see...

Re: Considering a move to Dublin, feedback appreciated

Max you can get the non-management level is 80000 Euros and for the management level, you can 120000 Max. If you need to earn more than that, you can check for contract jobs which pay most. If you could set your own company, the tax rate is just 12% and you can gain the most in that situation. That...

Re: Considering a move to Dublin, feedback appreciated

I am expecting ~ 100K euros per year in base salary and another 30-40K euros in bonus. Benchmarking about 5K in monthly expenses (rental - 2K, childcare - 1K, groceries - 500, Utilities, travel, ... - 1.5K). Is that a reasonable cost estimate? Regards! Wow 100K and 30-40K bonus in Euros? The averag...
